Description

In ZnGa2Se4 and ZnGa2Se4:Eu crystals photoluminescence (PL) at T=77-230 K has been investigated. In the PL spectrum of ZnGa2Se4 maximum was found at 591 nm, ZnGa2Se4:Eu spectrum maxima at 566, 591 and 646 nm, but in ZnGa2Se4:Mn spectrum maxima were found at 626 and 641 nm. Most probably the introduction of Eu and Mn ions into ZnGa2Se4 decreases the structural defects.
