Study of low energy antineutrino-electron scattering and search for neutrino magnetic moment with Munu detector

Creators

Description

MUNU is an experiment dedicated to electron-neutrino scattering studies, and in particular to neutrino magnetic moment search at a nuclear power plant in Bugey (France). It is based on a gaseous Time Projection Chamber immersed in 10 tons of liquid scintillator acting as an active anti-Compton shielding. After having presented the interest of such a search and the detector design, we will look at the first preliminary results and discuss next goal for MUNU detector. (author)
