Description
The acoustic signal of muon flux in a muon filter of the neutrino channel A-70 is studied. The measurement data and theoretical evaluations based on the thermoacoustic mechanism of sound generation are given. An agreement of the experimental and theoretical data exhibits the predominant contribution of the thermoacoustic mechanism. A possible development of the procedure in order to determine remotely the integral characteristics for the particle beams in accelerators is considered
