Analysis of monosaccharides and their phosphoric esters labelled with carbon-14 and tritium

The results of analytical studies of aqueous alcoholic solutions of glucose, mannose, ribose and arabinose labelled with tritium and carbon-14 and of solutions of glucoso-1-phosphate and glucoso-6-phosphate labelled with carbon-14 by photometry based on reaction with toluidine agent are reported. The possibility of glucoso-6-phosphate determination without previous decomposition by acid hydrolysis was established. The radiochemical analysis of the above compounds was performed by paper and thin-layer chromatography. Hardly separable glucoso-l-phosphate and glucoso-6-phosphate were successfully separated due to conversion o+' the glucoso-l-phosphate to a borate complex
