Within its competence for energy research, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) funds research projects on the safety of nuclear power plants. Major objectives of the funding are to provide fundamental knowledge, procedures and methods to contribute to realistic safety assessments of nuclear installations, to the further develop safety technology and innovative safety-oriented approaches. The Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (GRS) gGmbH, continuously issues information on the status of the funded research projects on behalf of the BMWi. Therefore GRS publishes semi-annual and annual progress reports, the GRS-F-Progress Reports Series). Each progress report represents a collection of individual reports for every project funded in the respective reporting period. The individual reports are prepared in a standardized format by the responsible research organisations to document their progress of work. The GRS-F-Progress Reports are structured by the research areas covered within the BMWi funded reactor safety research. Individual reports are arranged in sequence of their project numbers. The GRS-F-Progress Report Series can be downloaded from an internet-based information system (https://www.grs-fbw.azurewebsites.de) starting from the year 2000. The responsibility for the content of the individual project reports assembled in the GRS-F-Progress Reports Series lies entirely with their respective authors. Neither the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) nor the Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (GRS) gGmbH may be held responsible for the correctness, exactness and completeness of the information contained in the GRS-F-Progress Reports Series or for the possible infringement of any privacy rights of third parties.
