Crystallization and ferroelectric properties of lithium niobate powder, prepared by alkox technique
- 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Fiziko-Khimicheskij Inst., Moscow (USSR)
Description
Formation of ferroelectric properties of LiNbO3 powder with the increase in crystallite dimensions and improvement of their structure are considered in detail. It is shown, that in the process of LiNb(OC2H5)6 hydrolysis with subsequent heat treatment at 150-200 deg C X-ray amorphous product of the composition LiNbOsub(2.9) (OCsub(2)Hsub(5))sub(0.2)x1.1Hsub(2)O, containing ultramicrocrystal powder LiNbO3, is formed; the process takes place without an intermediate stage of oxide bimetallic hydrate dissociation into components. Ferroelectric properties of LiNbO3 powder are formed, when the crystals grow to approximately 0.01 μm in the process of heat treatment above 350 deg C
