Distribution of lead-210 and polonium-210 between soluble and particulate phases in seawater

Description

Results are reported from radiometric measurements of the distribution of 210Pb and 210Po in surface seawater and suspended particulate matter. Samples of plankton and sediments collected from some locations were also analyzed. Samples of seawater and suspended particulate matter were collected from stations located in the Gulf of Maine, the North Atlantic, and approximately 500 miles southwest of Gilbraltar. (U.S.)
