Use of cholesteric liquid crystal thermography for diagnosing radiation injuries of human skin
Description
In examining radiation injuries of human skin, measurements of skin temperature have been performed using cholesteric liquid crystals. Following a detailed description of the thermographic procedure, the feasibility of use and the potential significance of the method for judging the extent of skin damage have been discussed on the basis of practical results so far obtained.
