The clinical research progress of dual-energy CT in imaging evaluation of gastric cancer

Description
Gastric cancer is the most common malignant tumor of digestive system and CT examination is mainly used for gastric cancer staging and preoperative evaluation in clinic. Dual-energy CT imaging technology is a newly emerged examination technique in recent years, it can not only effectively improve the diagnostic accuracy of gastric cancer and detection rate of early lesions but also show unique advantages in gastric cancer pathology classification, degree of differentiation and preoperative assessment compared with conventional CT. This review was focused on the principle of dual-energy CT and the clinical application value of dual-energy CT in gastric cancer. (authors)
