Description
The occurrence of mixed-symmetry states is predicted in deformed odd-mass nuclei and their properties are studied within the framework of the interacting boson-fermion model. Closed expressions are derived for B(M1) strengths in the SU(3) limit of the model. An application to 169Tm is presented. (orig.)
