Description
In order to check satellite-based nuclear explosion detector, an optical simulator structure was designed. Mechanical tilting altitude-azimuth structure and X-Y double-axis structure platforms were analyzed theoretically. Optimized double-axis structure was put forward and the tracing accurateness was estimated. It is found that the X-Y structure table can trace the satellite within the effective area (no zenith blind spot) very steadily as well as with high performance. The results of experiment confirm the theoretical and mathematical models. (authors)
