Model consideration of effect of the second coordination sphere cations on electronic structure of pentafluorauranylate ion
Description
Results of nonrelativistic DVM-Xsub(α) calculation carried out in the basis of numerical Hartree - Fock functions of main atomic states, UO2F53--Li43+ system electronic structure are presented. The effect of the second coordination sphere cation on the state of the complex anion in uranyl salts is investigated. A conclusion is made that cation effect in M3UO2F5 complexes with alkali metal cations is conditioned by polarization effects and redistribution of electron density as a result of cation AO participation in MO formation
