The International panorama of radioactive waste management

There is an international consensus that aspects of a very different nature must be addressed for the safe short-and long-term management of rad waste and spent fuel. The technological solutions to be implemented must be accompanied by effective regulatory and legal development, a clear framework of responsibilities and strong financing systems.
