The review on the effects of thermal effluent from nuclear plants on the marine ecosystem
Description
Large amount of thermal effluent from nuclear plants affects the marine ecosystem. This paper summarizes the development of the effects of thermal discharge into water on the physical and chemical properties of water body, plankton, fish and adjacent waters in the aquatic ecosystem, and then introduces the thermal diffusivity on the issue of nuclear research, the development and utilization of waste heat resources, as well as the existing laws and regulations on wastewater discharge heat policy at home and abroad. The conclusions that are distinct but divergent was analysed and the future research directions on the issue was porinted out. (authors)
