Quasi-static fields excited in a plasma layer by the beam of electromagnetic waves
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Obshchej Fiziki
Description
Nonlinear phenomena arising in the plasma resonance region are accompanied with the appearance of quasi-static electric and magnetic fields. These fields were studied by means of measurements of electron beam deviations. Because of the very small electron beam current, this method of measurement does not perturbe the examined plasma. The measured value of electric potential correlates with the maximum of high frequency quasipotential in the plasma resonant region. (D.Gy.)
