Event-by-event DCC search in Pb-Pb collisions at 158 AGeV

  • 1. Dept. of Physics, Panjab Univ., Chandigarh (India)
  • 2. Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, Calcutta (India)

Description

In the present investigation, data has been obtained from the Photon Multiplicity Detector (PMD) and silicon pad multiplicity detector (SPMD) in the WA98 experiment. PMD placed at 21.5 meters downstream of the target, detected photon hits, whereas the charged particle hits were recorded by a circular SPMD placed at 32.8 cm downstream of the target
