Numerical simulation of the response of VVER440/V213 reactor internals to the dynamic stress during a LOCA
Description
The simulation was performed for the Jaslovske Bohunice V2 rector within the periodic safety review, with the aim to demonstrate compliance with the relevant acceptance criteria defined in the appropriate codes and standards. The following topics are described: MKP calculation model, material specification and properties, global thermal hydraulic calculation, dynamic analysis by using the MSC Dytran model, and evaluation of the results.
