Feedwater control device for BWR type reactor
Description
Purpose: To enable avoidance for unnecessary plant tripping or the like by suppressing abrupt increase in the reactor water level due to the reduction in the reactor core pressure. Constitution: The feedwater control apparatus comprises a mismatching control section for controlling the balance between the feedwater flow rate and the main steam flow rate, a water level control section for maintaining the reactor water level constant and a flow rate control section for controlling the feedwater pump flow rate. A feedwater restriction circuit is provided to the flow rate control section to run-back the feedwater pump upon reduction in the reactor core pressure to rapidly restrict the feedwater flow rate.
