Comment on the existence of free quarks

Description

The failure of present quark searches can be explained if the quark reaction rate in nuclear matter is significantly greater than that of hadrons. Then, with proper experimental precautions, free quarks could be detected using e+e- colliding-beam machines at energies above threshold for quark pair production
