A comparison of the steady-state facility in the RELAP-UK code with the CUSH code and with collant flow in the Winfrith SGHWR
Description
Provision of capability for performing steady-state calculations in RELAP-UK has led to the possibility of the wider use of this code for steady-state assessments of the behaviour of commercial systems with complicated circuit arrangements. In the studies discussed in this report, the first objective is to demonstrate the performance of the RELAP-UK code in a steady-state role, and to make comparisons with the CUSH code, and with measurements obtained on the Winfrith Steam-Generating Heavy Water Reactor.
