Power conditioning and control of an ion thruster using cesium surface ionization

Description
The results obtained during the design and elaboration of the power conditioning and command system for an ion thruster using cesium surface ionization, are presented. After a description of the mass dimensioning of the thruster and the determination of the parameters of the different supply units, the design of the system is presented. A description of the principal electrical characteristics of the different models which were elaborated is given

On presente les resultats obtenus lors de la conception et de la realisation du systeme de conditionnement de puissance et de commande pour un propulseur a ionisation de cesium par contact. L'analyse de l'expression du bilan de masse du systeme et son optimisation conduisent a la determination des parametres des differentes alimentations. On expose dans la derniere partie la conception du systeme et on donne les principales caracteristiques electriques des differentes maquettes realiseesAdditional details
