Systematic coupled-channel optical model analysis for nuclear data evaluation

  • 2. Joint Inst. for Energy and Nuclear Research, Minsk-Sosny (Belarus)

Description

A global nucleon optical model potential was estimated for medium- and heavy-nuclei up to 200 MeV. The coupled-channel method based on the rigid-rotator model was employed to deduce optical model potential parameters. The soft-rotator model analysis was also carried out for various even-even nuclei in order to obtain more realistic coupling strengths. The obtained findings will provide a basis for the nuclear data evaluation toward JENDL-4. (author)
