Description

Spectra recorded in three different runs with a natural germanium three-crystal detector were examined in detail with respect to a residual component above 550 keV consistent with the two-electron spectrum of 2υ2β decay of 76Ge. Evidence for α and β- particle injection into the active volume of the three crystals is presented. Potential conflicts with the identification of 2υ2β decay of 76Ge are discussed.
