Description
The study reported was intended to establish methods for the extrapolation of crack resistance curves, to be applied to predicting crack tip opening geometries under postulated stresses. This was done using experimental results of component tests with pipes made of 15NiCuMoNb5 in addition to the proven engineering approaches, and applying damage mechanics concepts for modelling as well as FEM. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Untersuchungen ist, auf der Grundlage von Bauteilversuchen an Rohren aus dem Werkstoff 15NiCuMoNb5 in Ergaenzung der ingenieurmaessigen Bewertungsverfahren und unter Anwendung der schaedigungsmechanischen Modellierung sowie FEM, Methoden zur Extrapolation von Risswiderstandskurven zu entwickeln und fuer die Vorhersage der Rissoeffnungsgeometrie unter postulierten Belastungen einzusetzen.
