Characteristics of trace element geochemistry and Sm-Nd isotope in uranium-bearing phosphorite of Zhuziao northwestern Hunan province

Description
Uranium-bearing phosphorite is important type of unconventional uranium resources in China. This paper is deal with the uranium-bearing phosphorite in Zhuziao Hunan province. The trace elements and Sm-Nd isotopic analysis were used to study the uranium-bearing phosphorite. The results show that U and V are mainly enriched in uranium-bearing phosphorite. The characteristics of Sr/Ba < l and Co-Ni-Zn diagram was related to hydrothermal sedimentation. The characteristics of Ni/Co-V/Cr diagram shows that the uranium-bearing phosphorite was formed in the anoxic sedimentary environment. Sm-Nd isotopic parameters and Nd two stage model age data of uranium-bearing phosphorite shows the characteristic of shell source. The paper suggested that in the anaerobic sedimentary environment, the uranium-bearing phosphorite was mainly source from shell material under the influence of hydrothermal sedimentation in Zhuziao area.
