Description

The use of uranium-series dating to provide evidence about quaternary palaeoclimates is described. The evidence from sedimentation patterns, biota and the control of palaeoclimates by alternating glacial and interglacial periods and the measurement of the length of these periods by studying uranium-series disequilibria is reviewed.
