Radiation induced effects in high Tc superconductor YBa2Cu3O7

Description
Effects of proton (18 MeV) irradiation at 300 K on the accelerator U-150 at INP AS RU in a range of fluencies Φp ≅ 1013 - 1015 p/sm2 on superconducting (SC) ceramic YBa2Cu3O7-δ with isotopic and textured modification are investigated. These results allow to suppose that proton irradiation stimulates generation of defects: vacancies and interstitials of oxygen atoms mainly at undersurface layer and intergranular area, i.e. defect region.
