Spectrophotometric study of tungsten (6) complexing with 4-sulfobenzeneazopyrocatechin

Description
Spectrophotometric study of tungsten (6) complexing with 4-sulfobenzeneazopyrocatechin (H3R) in 20% alcohol-water medium is carried out. It is shown that tungsten forms H3R complex with the ratio W:H3R=1:2 at pH 1.0. Equilibrium and stability constants of this complex are determined. Its probable structure and complexing mechanism in the studied system are presented
