Description
This study primarily investigated the occurrence characteristics and influencing factors of radon in Cambrian limestone geothermal water of No. 13 Mine, Pingdingshan coalfield in Pingdinshan, China. The geothermal water temperature, radon concentration, and other conventional chemical indicators were measured at typical sites. The source of radon was determined based on the nuclides concentration, and the distribution characteristics of radon and its relationship with influencing factors were analyzed. According to the collected information, faults are quantitatively evaluated with fractal theory, the occurrence of radon from a geological point of view was analyzed. (author)
