Problems of combined radiation and nonradiation effects in some group of workers

Some important problems of the sanitary control on the working environment and the medical control on workers exposed to combined radiation and nonradiation factors are discussed. Data are given on radiation dose distribution of NPP personnel according to the type of activity (exploitation, repair, waste management, fuel loading etc.), as well as data on occupational traumatism with lethal outcome. The importance of investigating the immune system, which is particularly sensitive to that kind of effects, is emphasized
