Description
Samples of sodium titanate have been prepared under varying conditions of precipitation. The sorption of strontium (II) and 85Sr tracer ions on sodium titanate has been studied as a function of pH. The observed half-times were of the order of 0.5 h. Under the conditions of the experiments (pH 5, 200C) strontium is retained in amounts of the order of 3.0 +- 0.2 meq/g on sodium titanate. The influence of complexing agents (EDTA, citrate) on the sorption of small amounts of strontium on sodium titanate has also been studied. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
