Rf impedance of antenna exciting a dense plasma column preformed with a microwave ecr discharge

Description
The results obtained for loading resistances of various antennas exciting a dense plasma column,which is generated independently by a microwave ECR discharge was reported. Such an experimental scheme permits to examine the interaction of the rf field with plasma in a wide range of parameters including those that are not available in discharge because of the balance and stability restrictions.The basic idea of research is to define which parts of antenna are responsible for coupling of the rf power to plasma.Results are compared with theoretical
