Description
The extinction of light caused by the presence of dust along the IC 1318 nebular complex has been investigated by comparing optical (Hα) data of high photometric accuracy and radio data of the same angular resolution. The role of the detected dust condensations in the formation of stars has also been discussed. (orig.)
