Interaction of neutronics and thermal-hydraulics in the evaluation of BWR stability
- 1. Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst., Troy, NY
Description
Modeling has been performed for the evaluation of the interaction of neutronics and thermal-hydraulics in the analysis of density-wave oscillations. Application of the models show that the interaction is strong, and that stability margin varies considerably with sophistication of neutronics model
