Limiting current of triiodide reduction at an inclined disk electrode under natural convection

Description
Limiting currents of triiodide reduction from iodine solutions in excess of potassium iodide in a cell with two plane-parallel platinum electrodes were determined experimentally as function of the electrode inclination angle in reference to the vertical line and solution composition. Qualitative analysis of the results was carried out on the basis of previously devised concepts of regularities in natural convection in the electrochemical systems

Экспериментально определены предельные токи реакции восстановления трииодида из растворов иода в избытке иодида калия в ячейке с двумя плоскопараллельными платиновыми электродами как функции угла наклона электродов по отношению к вертикали и состава раствора.
