Coupling a scalar field to the Skyrmion model
Description
We consider the Skyrmion model coupled to a scalar field. This coupling yields two coupled differential equations, for the Skyrmion itself and for the field η. The coupling to the scalar field introduces a new degree freedom in the problem and thus new boundary conditions have to be considered, especially for the differential equation of the field η. Some numerical difficulties are faced and discussed. Uncoupled solutions to both equations are found. The condensate η has a non trivial solution in the presence of the skyrmion. (author)
