About reactivity determination by pulse methods in experiments of subcritical assembly 'Yalina Booster'
Creators
Description
Accelerator driven system has been proposed to reduce the radiotoxicity of the nuclear waste inventory. The pulse methods to measure the reactivity of such systems are discussed and investigated experimentally the subcritical assembly 'Yalina Booster'. It is shown that the area method is in good agreement with Monte Carlo simulation, whereas the slope fit method requires more defiled characterization of the core. (authors)
