Nucleation and growth of voids by radiation. Pt. 4
Description
The growth of boids in pure nickel and copper irradiated inside a high voltage electron microscope is considered with the aid of a model described previously. Best agreement between theory and experiment is obtained with diffusion-controlled growth of voids, and values of the dislocation bias, Z, between 1.01 and 1.05. The dependence of the swelling on dislocation density is also discussed. (orig.)
