A multidimens:onal correlation amplitude analysis with an IZOT-0310 minicomputer

Description
A three parameter data acquisition and processing system based on a minicomputer IZOT-0310 is developed. Three correlated pulses generated by a double-gridded ionization chamber are amplified by three identical spectrometric tracks, each one consisting of a FET preamplifier, a double RC integrating and differentiating amplifier, and a 256-channel analog-to-digital converter. The converted amplitudes of the pulses represented by three eight-bit words for each of the events of heavy nuclei fission are fed into the computer. The events are processes by user written and standard library programs, in order the energy, mass, and angular distribution of fission fragments, as well as the mean free path of the fragments in a given gas media of the chamber, to be obtained
