Signal processing for detectors at high-luminosity hadron colliders
Description
Signal processing for the next round of high-luminosity collider experiments will pose the most formidable of the new experimental challenges. Based on the characteristic features of the experimental environment, the architecture of the signal-processing system is sketched. In this paper examples of front-end electronics for some of the detector systems are presented. Levels of radiation hardness of electronic achieved so far are indicated
