Cylan and Snare: novel programs for non-uniform lattice calculations

  • 1. Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest (Hungary). Central Research Inst. for Physics

Description

A new algorithm for calculating non-uniform lattices was realized in the programmes CYLAN and SNARE. The multigroup transport model of elementary cells (CYLAN) and the global lattice calculations (SNARE) were derived on the basis of a coherent set of assumptions. The proposed algorithm was verified against zero power criticality experiments. The first results confirm the adequacy of the algorithm
