Quench-protection system design and analysis of superconducting dipole magnet for FAIR

Description
The methods of balancing-bridge voltage quench detection and protection in the superconducting dipole magnet experiments are introduced. The quench-detection circuit is analyzed and the principle of voltage quench-detection by means of balancing-bridge is brought out. (authors)
