Performance control limits for gamma assay systems
Description
The purpose of this document is to present an improved methodology for establishing control criteria to ensure the proper performance of the NDA systems at WRAP that are more consistent with the operating principles of those systems, their underlying physics, and the mission of the facility to certify transuranic waste for disposal at WIPP. The proposed methodology is motivated and guided by our experience in operating the GEA units under our present control requirements since the CH-WAC went into effect on May 17, 2002
