Description
The qualitative model of the surface and thermal evaporation process is proposed on the basis of the identified correlation relationship between the energy of the most low-lying levels of the 4fN-15d6s2 configurations and the temperature of the saturated vapors uniform pressure in the rare earth metals with the 4f-completion shell (Ce-Yb). It is shown that the process of evaporation from the REM surface occurs in two stages: formation of the neutral atoms in the 4fN-15d6s2-state on the surface and their thermal break-off
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
