Description
This volume is a compilation of technical aspects of fuel behaviour under accident conditions and study/analysis of fuel behaviour under off-normal conditions in thermal reactors as well as in fast reactors. A summary report on the Round Robin code exercise on fission gas release is also given. Experimental work in this field, to generate data required for the modeling and validation of computer codes and for setting safe design limits and acceptance criteria for the fuel, during off-normal and accident conditions needs to be carried out.
