Inclusive production of baryon resonances in K+p interactions at 32 GeV/c

Description

Results on total inclusive, semi-inclusive cross sections and inclusive spectra of the Σ*+-(1385), anti Σ*+-(1385) and Δ++(1232) obtained in 32 GeV/c K+p experiment with the bubble chamber Mirabelle are presented. Associated production of the Σ*+- (1385) with slow protons is studied for the first time. Experimental data are compared in details with the Lund fragmentation model. The first experimental estimates of parameters describing suppression of spin 1 sea diquarks relative to spin 0 diquarks and of strange sea diquarks relative to nonstrange ones ard obtained
