Influence of the uranium ore segregation effect in transport vessels on the results of gamma express analyses

Description

Influence of the uranium ore segregation during radiometric sorting while loading and forwarding on the results of gamma rapid analyses of ores is studied. The effect of segregation is shown to lead to relative increase of counting rate in lower layers in respect to upper ones. The equation for counting rate variations due to segregation phenomenon is obtained
