Path integral on spherical surfaces in D dimensions and on group spaces

Description
I solve the path integral for a point particle moving on the surface of a sphere in D dimensions and, exploiting the equivalence between a D=4 surface and the group space SU(2), for a spherical top. The SU(2) case serves as a prototype for the path integration on arbitrary group spaces. (orig.)
