Description
Analysis of longitudinal changes in main characteristic structures of electron temperature Te of subauroral near-middle night, winter, quiet ionosphere of both hemispheres of high solar activity period is conducted in connection with discovered strong longitudinal control of the position of main ionospheric trough (MIG) in electron concentration by data of ''Interkosmos-19'' satellite. It is found that position of MIG minimum and subauroral peak Te practically coincide at all the longitudes. This phenomenon is discussed. An additional maximum Te, which position is independent from longitude is pointed out to the equator of this peak. Arguments in favour of connection of this maximum with residual ring current of the preceding storm are given
