Isovector transitions in the 100Sn mass region
- 1. Institut fuer Kernphysik, Universitaet zu Koeln, Cologne (Germany)
Description
Excited low-spin states have been investigated extensively in the N = 52 isotones 94Mo, 96Ru and 92Zr with a combination of gamma-ray spectroscopic techniques. The aim was the identification of low-lying valence shell excitations, which are not symmetric with respect to the proton-neutron degree of freedom, so-called mixed-symmetry states, from absolute transition strengths. In addition, we investigated the evolution of collectivity in a transition from nuclei with a collective behavior to nearly closed shell nuclei. (author)
